Spring Into Sweats

We have to admit, we can’t wait for some spring shopping, but we’re not quite ready to leave our pandemic style behind. Fortunately, we can embrace our affinity for comfort and marry it with our excitement for spring in this Staud short sweatsuit. Pair it with some fun Monrow day of the week crew socks, sustainable Nikes, and a multi-layered necklace from Free People and we’ll feel ready to take on all the shopping coming our way!

Spring Cozy

“Fake spring” is the first hint that warmer days are ahead on the east coast, before we have another cold snap or two, and finally get to true spring. These days call for transitional dressing: layers, light sweaters, brighter colors, and more layers that can be shed throughout the day as the temperature slowly climbs. We’ve picked some perfect sweaters for those tricky dressing days to help you get through the in between. Easy to throw on over a button down or tee shirt, and under a shacket, fleece or denim jacket. Bring on spring!

De-light-ful Denim

We’ve taken a bit of an unplanned hiatus from posting because, you know, life and pandemic and mom-ing and the winter doldrums have all caught up to us. Between that myriad of reasons and some local winter ski trips last week, this week we’re back in business and focusing on warmer times ahead. We’ll say it: we’ve had it with winter. While our kiddos are loving the successive snowstorms we’re getting hit with, we’re ready for light denim, spring dresses and sandals. And while we know shopping isn’t the first thing on everyone’s mind these days, it’s amazing what a fresh pair of denim can do for your psyche. We picked out our favorite light denim pieces including a sweet skirt, a classic straight leg, a seamed style, less structured drawstring jeans, our favorite crossovers and this amazing denim jumpsuit.

Glove Love

Today we’re paying homage to the unsung hero of yesterday’s incredibly stylish inaugural ceremony: the leather glove. Whether you wear it monochromatic with a matching coat (a la the Biden granddaughters) or a basic black style that you’ll have forever (like Michelle Obama with her wine colored ensemble) investing in a pair or two will always be an excellent investment. Since we unfortunately can’t make it to Italy to the famed leather shops where you can pick up gorgeous leather gloves in every color of the rainbow, we’ve gathered some of our favorite picks that you can order online instead. We also found a leather mitten if you’re going for more of a “Bernie” vibe with your outerwear.
